"Binding pledge agreement" - three words that can strike fear into the heart of even the most experience fundraiser. But why? signing the final documents to close a gift should be the easiest and most fulfilling part of the process, not the most challenging. From donor advised funds and multi-year payments to unclear roles and responsibilities, we tackled it all. Learn how the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center took the siloed individuals working on gift agreements, fund codes and recognition and transformed them into a more cohesive, confident and effective team. Everyone from the Office of General Counsel, to the Finance Department, to the fundraisers work on the same page, ensuring donors have a seamless experience.
