Asa Tate

Chief Development Officer

Asa Tate serves as Chief Development Officer, leading a team of fundraisers who partner with the community to provide resources for families facing homelessness. Asa brings over twenty years of results-driven, ethical fundraising experience and leadership at Make-A-Wish, KCTS 9, Women's Funding Alliance, Technology Access Foundation, Food Lifeline and Girl Scouts. Asa is best known for her strategic thinking and exceptional ability to create lifelong relationships and partnerships that strengthen non-profits and our community. Asa actively volunteers to grow the field of philanthropy; serving as President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals - Advancement Northwest Chapter and on the Advisory Board of the University of Washington Non-profit Management & Fundraising Certificate program. Asa is an alumnus of Western Washington University, Leadership Tomorrow Seattle and UWKC Project LEAD.

Peter Drury

Chief Strategy Officer
Peter Drury serves as Chief Strategy Officer, where he is charged with keeping Wellspring future-focused, aligned, growing, and increasingly wise. A social worker with a business education – plus years of innovative leadership and consulting for philanthropists, executives, and boards – Peter is uniquely positioned to facilitate strategy, planning, performance measures, and optimization of the whole. Peter has supported many high-performing organizations during critical stages of growth, such as Splash, Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic, Seattle Children’s, Sightline Institute, and Make-A-Wish. He is a member of the faculty in Seattle University’s acclaimed Master of Nonprofit Leadership Program, and holds MSW, MBA, and M.Div. degrees from the University of Illinois, Seattle University, and Yale University.

Heather Fitzpatrick

President & CEO

Heather joined the Wellspring team as a contractor in 2017, and became the President and CEO in October, 2018. Prior to joining the Wellspring staff, Heather was the CEO of MarketFitz, Inc., a management consulting firm, where she worked with non-profit, healthcare and professional service organizations to help them reach their financial and organizational goals. An active community leader, Heather has served on a dozen boards of directors, including Northwest Center, the Washington Society of CPAs, Leadership Tomorrow, the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, Seattle Rotary #4, CityClub and Girl Scouts of Western Washington. She received her MBA from the University of Washington, her BA from Colgate University, and was a Fulbright Scholar. She began her career with Deloitte and is a Chartered Global Management Accountant and a licensed CPA in Washington state.

Additional Details:

*If you're driving to Women's University Club, please give yourself a few extra minutes. The small parking garage on-site is for Club members only.  Please take advantage of a number of nearby parking garages.  One suggestion is the WAC parking garage. Members who register a non-member guest for a lunch meeting can receive a $10 discount code for a future lunch. To receive the discount, the non-member guest must be registered for a luncheon with a meal. You will be contacted following the event with details.    

WPGC Late Registration Policy - Late registrants or walk-in participants are not guaranteed meal requests. You will only be charged for meals if you are served.  To ensure your dietary needs are met, please register for luncheons in advance - registration closes at noon on the Thursday prior to our Monday luncheons.
